  • 2/10/12 -  Summer camp sessions are just around the corner at the Painted Turtle and applications for the Leader-In-Training Program are already available! Click here to download yours. The Leader-In-Training (LIT) program is designed for 17 or 18-year-old participants who are former campers or members of the medical communities served by the Painted Turtle. It supports young adults' transition from campers to participating in camp leadership. As a LIT, participants join the Painted Turtle for a week-long summer session at camp to build onto their previous leadership experience, developing their leadership skills, gaining greater insight into the camp program, and helping campers have fun and empowering camp experience.

  • 1/27/12 - RSVP Now! 2012 Research & Development Forum Forum on February 15 at Skirball Center. This is a one day educational conference covering research, development, clinical trails and updates. Community members only. Kids are welcome!

  • 1/27/12 - The Partners in Bleeding and Thrombotic Disorders Education program offers free-of-charge comprehensive online education for physicians and nurses who treat persons with bleeding and/or clotting disorders in their practice. Modules available include The Bleeding Disorders Interactive Primer; Thrombosis, Thrombophilia and Thromboprophylaxis in Pregnancy, and animations including How Does Blood Clot?, An Overview of von Willebrand Disease, and Cell-Based Coagulation.
